Stronger Every Day

It amazes us how Ethan changes so quickly. Our little man's neck is getting stronger every day and we are having so much fun with the new things he can do.

Last weekend Ethan's Tita and Aunt Emily came down to babysit so that Mike and I could have a night out. Thank you for giving us a great night!

Baby Central

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. Life has been busy and Ethan's naps have been short! I have so many pictures to put up on here but I have to start with last night when Ethan had lots of his buddies over. The Green's are visiting from Washington and we had them over for dinner along with the Kennedy's and Hartman's. At the end of the evening, when the babies were all exhausted, we set them up on the couch for a picture. I'm surprised they weren't all blinded from the flashes of four cameras snapping as many pictures as we could. From left to right here are: Wallace (ll months), Jack (5 months), Clara (2 yrs), Ethan (3.5 months), Emma (3 months).


Jack is 6 weeks older than Ethan and Emma is 3 weeks younger.

What a fun and crazy night! It was so good to have all those families together. Thanks everyone for making it happen. :)

Busy Week

This week has been full of the reminder that babies change fast. Everyone keeps telling us that but somehow it doesn't hit home until you experience it. The following video clip shows what Ethan did for the first time today...

He is also growing like a weed! He is now about 15.5 lbs and he has grown out of all his 0-3 month clothes. Time to go shopping! I said this and Mike got a little worried but I just wanted to see his reaction. Actually, thanks to everyone's gifts and many, many hand-me-downs I didn't have to go farther than our attic. Ethan now has a whole new wardrobe and it didn't hurt our checkbook a bit! Thank you everyone for all the great clothes! Here Ethan is modeling a "new" outfit. :)

One last thing is that I pulled the Bumbo out and Ethan is doing brief stints in it. I love that he can hold his head up now!

To Grandma's house we go!

Last weekend was my mom's birthday and so we packed up the car and headed north. You will see that Sam wasn't thrilled about being demoted to the way back. Ethan got plenty of attention from all his dotting family. :)

Beach Bum

Ethan had his first day at the beach yesterday with some of his buddies. Man did I bring a lot more stuff than I used to! Of course I only needed a small portion of it but I figured better be safe than sorry. It was a beautiful day and Ethan enjoyed himself although I'm not sure how much he noticed the waves and sand. I think his favorite thing was to watch the big boys, Ezra and Van, have a great time playing in the sand. It was great to catch up with Natalie, Dianne and Julie.
