Two Timing It!

I'm proud to say that I successfully watched Laekin and Ethan at the same time last week. It gives me encouragement that having two kids is not an impossible task. In fact, it was quite a pleasant morning but I admit that they both could not have been better behaved. Here are some pics of the two of them and then Laekin doing bubbles out front.

Wow, I'm so far behind on blog updates. Ethan is entering some new stages so quickly. He had his first meal of rice cereal last Sat. He did great and there hasn't been a time so far where he doesn't want more! We'll be trying some new foods soon...

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

We had a great time with many Settlers games, movies, dinner out and some good playtime with Ethan. I will also comment that the Cleary reign in ping pong is over. Grandpa wooped us over and over. I've got a little practicing to do. I wasn't good at using my camera to capture the events of the weekend but I think this pictures says quite a bit. Grandpa is a Dodgers fan and Dad is a an Angels fan. Ethan has a decision to make...

My 1st 4th!

We woke up on the morning of the 4th around 5:00am. The Cleary's aren't morning folk but Ethan didn't want us to miss out. Once we admitted we weren't going back to sleep around 5:45 we embraced the day and headed down to the lake to stake our claim for a prime fireworks viewing location. We should have done it the night before because all the best real estate already looked like a patchwork quilt.

We found a decent spot and then headed to a bagel shop for breakfast. It was a glorious morning and we wondered why we don't get out early more often.

I don't have many picture from the day but here is Ethan trying to decide if he likes being in the pool...

All in all it was a wonderful day. Thanks E for helping us get up early to enjoy the morning!

I'm 5 months old!

Good news is that Ethan is taking longer naps again so I should be updating the blog more regularly! Ok, so he gets more personality every day and the pictures from his monthly photo shoot are getting harder to whittle down. Sorry!

I did it!

I've been itching for a hairstyle change and I finally did it! Let's just say I haven't had my hair this short since about 3 years old. Mike found a website where you can "try on" new hair styles. Here's my inspiration:
